—Clinton 'Clint' Francis Barton, born April 18, in Waverly, Iowa. In his mid-30s, Clint is an Aries.
—Clint never knew his parents growing up. He was very young when they were killed in a drunk driving accident, and he barely remembers the foster home he and his brother were subsequently placed in. It wasn't a pleasant environment, and Clint's brother Bernard 'Barney' Barton finally took his brother and ran off to the local carnival that had been travelling through town. Clint was five, Barney was fourteen.
—Problem was, the carnival slash circus was a front for a pair of supervillains code named Trick Shot and Swordsman. The brothers were soon swept into the life of crime, their violent upbringing in their foster home and the fact they didn't know any better aiding their descent into villainy. Clint was a natural with a bow, and Trick Shot also trained him in throwing knives, darts, and other lethal projectiles. He's also had training in acrobatics, aerialism, and has an uncanny ability to use common objects as thrown weapons.
—Clint was twenty when he was taken on his first real heist. He was nearly thirty when Trick Shot convinced him to help assassinate the leader of the the WCO. The mission failed, and Trick Shot left Clint to fend for himself. Nick Fury saw the potential in Clint, and offered him a deal-- join SHIELD, or die in jail.
—He falls fast and he falls hard, when he falls at all. Every woman for him is 'the one', and despite the fact that he and Natasha are firmly, equally agreed, friends, his feelings still linger, and he can't help being a little jealous of Tony. His next target of extreme affection was Bobbi Morse.
—He's known Bobbi a total of ten days and he wants to marry her.
—He knows he's not the best looking of guys. He's on a team with two geniuses, a super soldier and a god, and he can't help but feel inadequate sometimes.
—As a result, he postures, he jokes and he snarks. It's like short man syndrome, except he's not as buff or badass as his friends instead of not as tall.
—He's left-handed.
—Clint lost his virginity at the age of 13, and hasn't looked back since. He's strictly heterosexual, and while the idea of gay men doesn't bother him, he doesn't like being hit on by guys unless he knows they're kidding.
